GIS and Related Training Opportunities Offered By RGIS Sites

RGIS- Penn State GIS Training

About
As part of the cooperative extension program, the RGIS-Penn State offers courses in the use of GIS software, related information technologies, and environmental databases. The LAL has conducted training for hundreds of individuals, with diverse backgrounds and objectives, during the last year. We are proud of a documented proficiency and expertise in developing and delivering application specific, as well as generic, GIS training to a wide variety of clientele. Our extension program regularly provides technical support to our former students and workshop participants, allowing us to assess the impact of our training on these individuals. The LAL training steadily improves by detecting and addressing problem areas that are revealed by support requests.
